Wilko reveals plans for Exeter store opening

wilko Exeter store is set to open to the public this Friday 1st December at 9am at Unit 100 Guildhall Shopping Centre, EX4 3HP.

Everything you’d expect from wilko and more. The store will offer customers all the essentials needed to get their home and garden jobs done – great value wilko own brand products alongside popular named brands.  Customers will also be able to browse and order from the 100,000 items available on the recently re-launched wilko.com using self-service terminals for home delivery.

Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Kevin Mitchell, will make an appearance at the store’s grand opening at the Guildhall Centre and the first fifty people to enter the new store will get a goody bag filled with top-rated wilko products to take home and enjoy.

Alongside the return of The National Lottery, the new store will offer old favourites like pick and mix, an extensive pet and garden section plus an additional 20% more new lines including a unique paint mixing service on-site, meaning customers can create and take home their very own perfect shade for their next DIY project.

The Exeter site is one of new concept stores and the first to open ahead of a roll-out of store openings that will continue throughout 2024.  When staffing the new store, priority was given to ex-wilko team members with a third of team members returning
