Win a golden ticket to spend in Ottery St Mary

Businesses in Ottery St Mary are taking part in a ‘Golden Ticket’ event – giving out free money vouchers to customers to spend in the town.

Customers making purchases in participating businesses have the chance to win a golden ticket, worth between £1 and £50. There is one £50 ticket somewhere in the town on each of the special days.

Golden tickets can be spent in any of the participating businesses right up until Christmas Eve. There are over 20 businesses taking part, including the Recycled Candle Company, Tickety-Boo Café, Seasons Tea Rooms, Samosa Lady, Christopher Piper Wines and the town's newest shop, The Baby Boutique.

Richard Hills-Ingyon, of the Recycled Candle Company, said: “The first weekend was a huge success with hundreds of pounds literally given away to customers.

“And there’s a further £2,000 to be handed out on the next three Saturdays – what better reason do you need to come and shop in Ottery?”

The remaining Golden Ticket Saturdays are November 24, December 1 and December 8.
