Officers investigating a serious collision are asking for any witness to contact the police.

On Sunday 25 August 2013 a collision took place directly outside the Princess Theatre, Torquay just before 7pm.

Two pedestrians, a three year-old girl and a man, aged 36, were injured when they were in collision with a silver coloured Ford Tansit minibus.

The toddler suffered facial bruising while the adult was taken to Torbay District Hospital where he was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries including broken bones to his face and a head injury.

Torbay Road was closed at the junctions of Sneddon Hill and Cary Road while investigations at the scene took place and reopened at 11pm.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either the pedestrian or minibus shortly before the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 753 of 25 August.
