
Woman seriously hurt in Exmouth collision
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision that has left one woman in a serious condition.
Just after 10am on Wednesday 16th December, a collision occurred on Hulham Road Exmouth, when a Citroen C4 travelling towards the junction with Phillips Avenue left the road and collided with a stone wall.
The driver, a local woman in her 70s was unharmed, however her passenger, an 87-year-old woman suffered serious back injuries described as life threatening and was air lifted to Southmead Hospital Bristol, where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
The Serious Collisions Investigations Unit attended the scene and an investigation has been launched. Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the Citroen C4 in the area prior to the collision occurring, or may have witnessed the crash itself.
