Woman's body found at the foot of cliffs in Lympstone

Exmouth Coastguard report that a full team were called to action at 7.56pm last night following the report of a person found at the foot of cliffs, just North of Darlings Rock, Lympstone. 

The Coastguard reported on Facebook: "As we arrived on the scene it was confirmed by Paramedics and Police that the person was deceased.

"After Police had concluded their on scene investigations and due to the state of the tide, Exmouth Coastguards requested Exmouth Inshore Lifeboat to assist with the Recovery of the deceased.

"Our thoughts are with her family at this time."

The woman is thought to be 34 years old and from Lympstone.

The Police have informed her next of kin and are carrying out a routine investigation on behalf of the coroner, but are not currently treating her death as suspicious.
