Finalists in NatWest Devon Venus Awards to be announced tonight

The tension is mounting for the shortlisted nominees in the Natwest Devon Venus Awards, as the finalists are due to be announced in Exeter tonight at the Magdalen Chapter Hotel. In recognition of the importance of these awards, the event is even being filmed by Channel Four.

There have been thousands of nominations and votes in the competition, recognising the achievements of women in business.

There are 12 categories, including Employee of the Year, sponsored by The Exeter Daily, Business Mother of The Year, sponsored by Heart, and Employer of the Year, sponsored by Cathedral Appointments.

The competition is the brainchild of Westcountry hotelier, Tara Howard and is being hosted by Exeter businesswomen, Celia Delaney.

The Channel Four crew are filming the event at The Magdalen Chapter as part of a pilot into a series on women in business. Good luck ladies!
