Exeter venue hosts prestigious wedding awards
Top wedding suppliers from across the south west came together for a prestigious awards ceremony at Rockbeare Manor, outside Exeter.
The venue played host to 175 guests who were attending the south west regional finals of the Wedding Industry Awards – the only regional and national client voted awards in the wedding industry.
The evening recognises the huge wealth of talent available in the wedding industry across the region, ranging from venues, photographers, caterers, hairdressers and everything else in between.
It was the first time that this beautiful venue, which dates back to 1760, has hosted the ceremony.
Guest’s tucked in to canapés such as Goats Cheese Mousse, Pickled Apple and Candied Walnut along with Blackened Mackerel with Chive and Yoghurt on Sourdough, all created by Rockbeare Manor’s own team, led by Head Chef Ben Upton.
Director at Rockbeare Manor, Aimée Spencer said: ‘It has been a huge honour to host The Wedding Industry Awards this year, and to welcome so many industry professionals to our venue, of which we are very proud. Whilst it’s been a really fun night of celebrating, it’s also been a fantastic opportunity to get to know colleagues from the wedding industry across the south west, many of whom we hope to work with in the future’.
Rockbeare Manor’s sister venue, Coombe Lodge, won a Highly Commended award for Best Venue.
