Exeter Chiefs players have time on their hands!

Exeter Chiefs players Matt Jess and Richard Baxter will have no excuses for being late for training from now on after being presented with smart new watches by top city jeweller Michael Spiers.

The duo were awarded the time pieces for being named players of the month for September and October.

Fittingly, the TW Steel watches are oversized making them ideal for the Premiership pair.

Exeter Chiefs corporate sales executive Chris Bentley said: "We are immesely grateful to businesses such as Michael Spiers for all the support they give to the club.

"Without them and our amazing fans we wouldn't be able to do what we do on the pitch at Sandy Park."

Mr Spiers said: "We are proud to sponsor the player of the month and support the Exeter Chiefs."
