Exeter McDonald’s employee wins trip of a lifetime to FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia
Local McDonald’s Crew member, Louise Wyatt will be attending the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ Final in Australia at the end of this month after being recognised for her hard work.
Exeter Franchisee, David Shawyer, nominated Louise Wyatt for the trip of a lifetime as they will travel along with four other employees from across the McDonald’s UK & Ireland network to watch two teams battle it out for the biggest prize in women’s football.
McDonald’s UK & Ireland, as Official FIFA Women’s World Cup™ sponsors, are putting their employees at the heart of the biggest tournament in women’s football. As crew from across the global network will join up to form McDonald’s FC. As a collective they will visit Sydney’s most iconic spots, attend a FIFA Football Masterclass and, of course, enjoy the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Final™.
Louise is a keen footballer and fan of the game, she was nominated for striving above and beyond for every customer and her infectious energy amongst her team.

This Summer, McDonald’s is running an extra special wave of Summer Fun Football Sessions in the hometowns of the Lionesses, giving children inspired by the Lionesses at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ the chance to start their own football journey.
