Honour for Exeter School athletes
Two of Exeter School’s hockey athletes have been selected to attend the National Age Group Academy in Taunton.
Lower Sixth Formers Abby Pelling and Tom Edgington will train with a group of U17 players, alongside local England U18s and U16s.
In addition England Hockey has selected the pair to partake in the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (ASSE) as part of the National Age Group Squad (NAGS).
Hockey performance coach Graham Skinner said this was a fantastic opportunity for young, aspiring talented hockey players to gain an insight into what it takes to become an elite athlete.
“Four centralised national camps with two evenings per month at NAGS Academy will inspire and drive their development forward,” he said.
Well done and good luck to both Abby and Tom.
