Tis says recent results should give City momentum

City manager Paul Tisdale believes that two good results at St James’ Park in quick succession have given the Grecians some momentum ahead of two tough away trips to Bradford and Gillingham. 

Exeter beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0 last Tuesday before pegging back high-flying Fleetwood Town to earn a draw on Saturday.  Journeys to Yorkshire and Kent face two in-form teams in quick succession looks a daunting prospect, but the Grecians’ boss believes that shaking off a barren run of results has given the side a good base to work from.  “We made improvements, and I really liked the way we played [against Fleetwood],” said Tis.  “It was the type of team I wanted to see on the pitch playing for Exeter.
