Tisdale pleased to end City's three-game losing streak

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale was pleased to end a three game losing streak as he saw his side come from behind to draw away to Dagenham and Redbridge. Top goal-scorer Jamie Cureton’s second-half goal cancelled out Medy Elito’s by-line strike to put an end to the Grecians' 300 minutes without victory.

The Grecians' manager said: “I’m very pleased with the way we played, we had a bit of a poor patch and we knew it would be a very competitive game here.

“The game was so high tempo and erratic and the players responded very well and were competitive.

“We didn’t have many periods of passing play, maybe towards the end of the game when we started to put pressure on them we did.

“In a way I’m disappointed with a draw, we were playing to win. At the end we were doing a lot of pushing,” he said.
