Students reminded to claim their TV Licence refund

Students moving home for the summer are being reminded by TV Licensing that they could be entitled to £50 in the form of a refund.

In 2017, TV Licensing changed the way refunds are calculated to make it easier for customers to apply. This means more students can benefit from a refund as they can now claim for any full months left on their licence.

There were 1,776,540 undergraduate students across the UK in 2017/18 according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency.

Exeter School hosted the South West Championships for the third year running with an excellent turn out, welcoming athletes from all over the country. Two teams from Colyton Grammar School, a state selective secondary school in Devon, have come top in the national Student Investor Challenge competition, beating 9,369 teams from schools around the country.
