Google visits school in Exeter to boost kids' online safety

In 2017, Google conducted research with more than 200 teachers to learn about their experience with online safety in the classroom. We found that teachers believe children should start learning about online safety as early as the age of seven and that 99% felt that this should be a part of the curriculum. More than 60 pupils from Exeter’s Pinhoe Primary School have taken home important gas safety information after a ‘Safety Seymour’ visit from Wales & West Utilities.

The gas pipeline and emergency service spent time in the school delivering sessions to help drive home the simple steps people can take to stay safe from the dangers of carbon monoxide. Exeter School’s annual Founders’ Day Service was held at Exeter Cathedral on Wednesday 27 March.

The whole school, comprising over 920 boys and girls aged 7-18, staff and governors, gathered to give thanks to its founders in a beautiful service.

Pupils at Exeter Cathedral School were delighted to welcome the Gruffalo to unveil their new Pre-Prep Library.

Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils (aged 3 to 7) have been looking forward to their new library for several weeks. On the day of the opening, the children were thrilled to find the Gruffalo sitting in the library, ready to read a few books and enjoy a conversation about his unusual eating habits!

Exeter School changing lives with its 18th annual concert for WaterAid

For the 18th year running and with support from South West Water and On Tap Water, the talented young musicians and singers from Exeter School will perform a special concert to raise funds for international charity WaterAid.
