Fatal fire claims four lives in Harlow, Essex

Police and the fire service are investigating the cause of a fatal fire in Harlow that has left four people dead and two at hospital, one critical.

The fire service was called at around 1.40am Monday, 15th October to a fire at a house in Barn Mead, Harlow. They brought the occupants out of the premises and emergency service personnel gave immediate emergency treatment.

Sadly, a woman and three young children have died.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and detectives are looking at the circumstances leading up to the fire.
