Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park welcomes royal deer family
To celebrate the arrival of the Royal Baby, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is marking the occasion by welcoming their very own William, Catherine and George to the Park.
Stag William, doe Catherine and newly born fawn George made their first public appearance at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park last weekend along with other family members. The Sika deer herd, who arrived at the Park in February 2010, will be taking up residency in the lush surrounds of Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park’s Wilderness, near the popular Summer Soak Zone and Buddy Bear’s Kingdom.
Kate Lewis, Crealy’s Animal Kingdom manager said: “In 2010 we were thrilled to welcome six hinds and a young stag called William to the Park. We now have nine fully grown Sika and have had four fawns born this year. With so much excitement surrounding the Royal Birth this year, we wanted to mark this fantastic occasion by naming one of the newly born fawns George in honour of the recent birth of William and Catherine’s child.
