Local contract hire & leasing company supplies new corporate aviation vehicle to airport
Independently owned Vehicle Save Contract Hire & Leasing Limited based in Exeter has supplied a second corporate aviation bus for Exeter International Airport. The new vehicle will be used for escorting private passengers using chartered or privately-owned jets, from their aircraft to the terminal or their own onward transport.
Delivery of the distinctive Vauxhall Vivaro was taken by Group Corporate Aviation Manager Chris Beer who heads a team of three offering a premier corporate concierge service, bespoke to the needs of private passenger clients. The team marshall the aircraft to the parking area and meet the VIP passengers and crew before using the vehicle for transferal to the terminal or their onward transport. The rich and famous are regular passengers to Exeter and include royalty, Heads of State and Government officials. Exeter is the destination for many clients but others travel onward throughout the South West region.
The branded nine-seat vehicle has a long wheel base which maximizes luggage capacity, the rear passenger doors open on both sides and the seats fold down for extra room; important features for private corporate passengers using Exeter Airport.

Vehicle Save Contract Hire & Leasing Limited, part of The Vehicle Save Group is operated by local businessman Jim Howard which incorporates the franchise for the South West peninsula for Europcar Rentals. The two independent businesses provide complementing services of contract hire & leasing and daily rentals with its head office based in Marsh Barton.

It was more expensive in the short-term but will make fuel savings over a three year period. In addition Vauxhall unlike some competitors offer a service agreement of two years or 20,000 miles which means there is minimum downtime for the Corporate Aviation service provided to its valued clients.”
