Headway Exmouth Autumn Bazaar
Teas and coffees and cakes will all be on offer at an Autumn Bazaar organised by Headway Devon’s centre in Exmouth.
The event will take place from 10.30am-2.30pm on Thursday 31st October at the Open Door Centre on Church Street.
Centre manager, Diana Russell, says, “Events like this are a great way for us to raise funds for the centre and let people know about the vital work that is going on right here in the local community.
“Our cake sales are always popular in Exmouth and we’re very grateful to all the members of the public who come in to see us to escape the bustle of the town centre, enjoy some home baking and find out more about what Headway Devon does. We’ll also be running a raffle at the Autumn Bazaar and will have a great range of prizes to win, largely thanks to the generosity of local businesses.”
All funds raised at the sale will be used to improve the services available to people with brain injuries through Headway Devon’s day centre in Exmouth. The centre provides weekly support to people who have survived head injuries, stroke, brain tumour, meningitis and many other illnesses and accidents, but have been left facing difficulties and disabilities as a result.
