More cats and kittens need new loving homes

Galahad and Lancelot (four-month-old male black kittens, pictured above) have been with us since August.

They are absolute little darlings, smashing boys with big personalities and great looks. You can’t beat a black cat. They really would like to go together but if you have a cat or kitten already, you could offer just one of them a home as long as they have a friend to play with.

Lulu (6 years old female grey and white cat) She's been with us since June 2013
Lulu is a sweet girl who was found wandering around lost and alone before she was brought into us. She was micro-chipped and had been missing for two years. Sadly her owners could no longer give her a home as their circumstances had changed. She is hoping someone will give her a second chance and where she can enjoy being pampered and loved again.

Ardezo and Anwyl (5 month old male and female black kittens) Female is the longhaired one. Came in in July 2013.Ardezo and Anwyl are very sweet kittens that have had a rough start in life. They were found living outside with their mum and siblings. Thanks to dedicated staff they were rescued and now they have a chance to find a loving forever home. Please don’t let them grow up in a pen, they’re only babies!

Naples (1 year old female black and white cat) She came in August 2013
I was rescued from a house where there were over 30 of us felines residing.... we were not neutered and our numbers were rapidly escalating!!! We were not really getting much attention from our human owners so when we arrived we were understandably shy. The girls here have been fab giving me lots of love and attention and now I am so much more confident....I still have a little way to go. I am very loving and gentle and now learning to play like a proper cat!!
I would love a nice quiet home with a safe garden to call our own.

Lola and Jackson (2 years old female and male tabby cats) Came in September, not long.

Jackson and Lola are looking for a new home as their owner became too ill to care for them.
They are lovely sweet natured cats who require a safer environment to grow up in as Jackson does not know the "green cross code!!" Please offer this deserving pair a new start.

Exeter Axhayes Cats Protection Adoption Centre has loads of lovely loving cats and kittens all needing loving homes.

The centre is one of the oldest Cats Protection adoption centres which opened back in 1988.

It currently re-homes approximately 700-800 cats a year.

A spokeswoman said: "We help neuter approximately 600 cats and kittens a year. Our centre is one of the largest adoption centres in the UK with about 200 cats and kittens in our care.
"Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
"It’s an ambitious vision.
"However, we truly believe it can be achieved because of our passion, our professional approach and simply because cats are among the UK’s most popular companion pets."

Our cats and kittens have all been fully vaccinated, health checked by our vet, neutered (over four-months-old), microchipped, de-flead and wormed. Our cats come with four weeks free insurance when homed.

The average cost of looking after a cat in our care can reach well over £200, and this does not include any necessary treatment. To help our costs we ask for an adoption fee of £60 per cat, and any donations are gratefully received.

If you are interested in these or would like to know more about adopting a cat or kitten from Cats Protection then why not give us a call.

Our opening hours are: Mon - Sun 11 - 3pm (except Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year's day).
