Exeter YMCA is excited to announce the return of its annual Santa Abseil charity fundraiser. On 7th December 2013 dozens of participants, dressed as Santa, will abseil 100ft down Renslade House, a 10-storey office provider in central Exeter.

Every penny raised will go towards Exeter YMCA’s vital work of providing housing and support to homeless young people from Exeter and Devon. Several generous local businesses have donated prizes for this year’s abseil, which can be won by participants.

Lloyd’s Kitchen, an independent restaurant café serving modern British food, have donated a meal for 2. The Ganges, Exeter’s longest established Indian restaurant, have donated a £30 voucher, and MakeArt, Exeter’s original arts and crafts shop and studio, have donated an activity voucher.

Exeter YMCA Chief Executive said, ‘it means so much to us to have these local businesses generously supporting us. The prizes they have donated will help us raise even more money which means more homeless young people can receive the gift of a home this Christmas’.

Any participant who raises over £200 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of these fantastic prizes.
