Exeter Chiefs can confirm that Saturday’s Aviva Premiership clash with visiting Bath Rugby is now an official sell-out. The final few tickets for the eagerly-anticipated game, which will kick-off at 3.15pm, were sold early on Monday morning and mean Sandy Park will play host to a crowd of 10,744.

Exeter Rugby Club chief executive Tony Rowe OBE said: “We’re delighted to announce another sell-out crowd here at Sandy Park, games between ourselves and Bath are always great occasions and I’ve no doubt this will be no different.

“The fact it’s a local derby – and that we still have yet to beat them since we got into the Premiership – I think just adds to the build-up of what we think will be a cracking atmosphere for the game.”

With the region set for yet more adverse weather over the coming week, the Chiefs are taking no chances and the Sandy Park pitch will again be covered to ensure the game will go ahead. Supporters attending the game are asked to keep an eye out on the Chiefs official website and social media sites for any potential updates on the game and the weekend transport plans.

For supporters attending the game by car, parking will be available at the nearby Westpoint Arena (£5 per vehicle) and will include a free shuttle service to and from the stadium for three hours pre and post-match.
