
Man charged for Church burglary
A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with a burglary at Martin’s Church in Exminster shortly before Christmas.
The church was broken into on 15 December 2013 and food was taken from the donation basket along with Christmas cards.
An antique British Legion flag and kneeler were burned while damage was caused to storage cupboard locks and the sound system.
Lewis Wilkinson, from Exminster, has been charged with burglary and criminal damage and remanded on bail to appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court on 25 March 2014
