The Castle Hill Car Festival is the premier motoring event in the South West and last year featured in Auto Express Magazine as one of 'must do' summer motoring events alongside the Goodwood Revival. The dates for 2014 have been confirmed as Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August.

The Festival draws together devotees of classic cars, supercar enthusiasts, plus fans of the region's very active motorsport scene, and all within the unparalleled setting of the parkland grounds of Castle Hill near Filleigh, the home of the Earl and Countess of Arran.

Last year the classics display featured over 800 cars including more than 50 Aston Martins as part of their centenary celebrations, and we hope to repeat that spectacle in 2014 to help celebrate 100 years of Maserati.

At the heart of the Festival is the Trade Exhibition Area which will feature fantastic displays of new models from Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Lotus and Noble, plus a full range of family cars from the region's franchised dealers.

Some of the specialist exhibits will include several historic Formula 1 cars plus a 2014 Bentley Continental GT3 race car from the current British GT Championships.

Once again our headline event will be the exciting Track Sprint Challenge motorsport event on our 0.8 mile track through the heart of the Festival in front of thousands of spectators. The number of entries for 2014 has been increased to 100 cars and will include historic competition cars, rally thoroughbreds and modern performance cars. The track will also feature the madness and thrills of gravity racing and a programme of demonstration runs of supercars, historic racing karts and other vehicles of historical interest - a fantastic visual feast for all motoring enthusiasts.

Other attractions will again include last year's crowd favourite - a breathtaking display from the Abarth stunt plane plus supercar road rides and helicopter pleasure flights. There will also be arena events and lots to see and do for all the family including a toddlers funfair and a Food & Drink pavilion.
