Man charged after Exeter Bank Raid

A 39-year-old man has been charged with robbery following a bank robbery in Exeter city centre on Monday 24 March.

Justin Bracken Lee, will appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court today, Friday, 28 March 2014.

Police are investigating the bank robbery which took place at around 1.10pm on Monday at the Natwest in Exeter City Centre.

Mr Bracken Lee is alleged to have told the cashier he was armed and demanded cash.

The male cashier was unharmed but shaken by the ordeal.

A large number of police remained in the area for several hours.

Police forensic officers and the dog attended the scene.
