Byron is set to open its newest restaurant in Exeter’s Princesshay. The group of hamburger restaurants has a number of outlets across the UK, mainly in London, as well as a number of other cities including Manchester and Oxford. The Exeter restaurant is set to open in early summer and will occupy the current La Tasca unit.

The restaurant offers high quality hamburgers with sides, salads and desserts. Byron launched in 2007 and since then has proved hugely popular around the capital and beyond.

Tom Byng, Byron’s founder, said:

"‘This will be our first foray into the south-west - we’re excited to be opening in Princesshay and we hope local fans of proper hamburgers feel the same.”

Byron was founded by Tom Byng in 2007 when he felt there was a gap in the market for proper hamburgers made as they should be. The chain sources quality beef from Scotland which is minced fresh every day.

Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Byron to Princesshay. We have a great range of eateries here, serving a diverse range of cuisines. This latest addition offers our visitors even more choice.”
