Exeter Chiefs LV= Cup parade details
Exeter Chiefs can today confirm the official plans for today’s Open Top bus journey for the squad following their recent LV= Cup triumph over Northampton Saints.
At the kind request of the Lord Mayor Cllr Rachel Lyons and Exeter City Council, the Chiefs will parade the LV= Cup through the city before then taking part in a civic reception at the Guildhall.
The all-conquering Chiefs squad will set off from St James’ Park at 2pm and make their way down Sidwell Street and into the High Street, before stopping off at Bedford Square (2.25pm) where they will then meet with supporters during a 30-minute break for photographs, autographs and a general meet and greet.
The players will then jump back on board the two buses before making the final leg of the journey down to the Guildhall (3pm). Head coach Rob Baxter and members of his squad will then come immediately out onto the balcony for further photographs and the opportunity once more to show off the LV= Cup.
The civic reception in the Guildhall will then follow before the players board back onto the buses for the return trip to St James’ Park.
