Thousands flocked to Exeter High Street to watch Exeter Chiefs players take part in a victory parade.

Exeter's favourite players posed for photographs with fans before jumping aboard an open top bus provided by Stagecoach.

The parade was organised to celebrate the Chiefs victorious triumph over the Northampton Saints during the LV=Cup final.

As well as meeting fans the players also took part in a civic reception with the Lord Mayor of Exeter in the Guildhall on Saturday.

Staff and officials from the rugby club also joined the players on the open top buses.

The buses travelled from St James's Park before moving on to Sidwell Street and into the High Street.

Their final pit stop was at the Guildhall at 3pm for a Civic Reception hosted by the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Cllr Rachel Lyons.
