Sponsors confirmed for Ottery Festival

The 2014 Ottery St Mary Food & Families Festival has attracted sponsorship from a number of high profile sponsors, from not only Devon but Cornwall as well.

Davidstow Creamery has come on board as Festival Marquee Sponsor. The Cornish cheddar maker’s General Manager, Martyn Anthony, is a resident of Ottery, and believes South West businesses should support South West events.

A regular supporter of community events, Everys Solicitors is this year sponsoring the Festival Cookery Demo Theatre, which will feature cook-offs and demonstrations from local food heroes including Robin Rea of the Rusty Pig, ‘Samosa Lady’ Tina Chauhan-Challis and Masterchef semi-finalist Saira Hamilton.

Festival favourite Otter Brewery is, unsurprisingly, official Festival Beer Sponsor. The Luppitt-based brewery is well-known for its commitment to the community as well as the environment.

Festival organiser, Ruud Jansen Venneboer said: “We’re delighted that these three very different businesses have agreed to support us in 2014. 

“Without sponsors, the festival wouldn’t be the success that it is. With their help, we are hoping to easily top the 3,000 visitors we welcomed last year.”
