A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

"Ay me! For aught that ever I could read,
Could ever hear by tale or history,
The course of true love never did run smooth." Act 1, Scene 1.

Shakespeare's great comedy is magically retold in a thrilling production which moves from a bleak, modern, inner city school detention room to the fantastical world of princes and lovers, forests and fairies.

Performed by eight actors, this fast-paced, beautiful and inventive production will sweep audiences into a world full of passion and enchantment.

The play comes to Exeter Northcott following a run at the Almeida Festival and Edinburgh Fringe.
