Jane Mason - Life Forces

Jane Mason’s work explores ways in which the movements of bodies and objects in space can create ‘image worlds’ of great affective resonance and tenderness.

The initial trigger for Life Forces came from her father’s old slide projector and his archive of slides.

Joined by writer/performer Phil Smith, Life Forces offers a meditation on memory’s place in the face of uncertain futures, and on transformation and change as the core ground of being, the ‘life force’ that links everything and everyone.
