The Christmas Fair in Magdalen Road is now an extremely popular and exciting annual shopping event.

This "urban village" contains well established award winning purveyors of fine food, drink and gifts, as well as some exciting new shops on the block.

Pipers Farm Butchers, Gibsons Plaice for fish and the exquisite Bon Gout delicatessen are all well known and respected retailers, but quirky newcomers like Cafe Catalan, Ian Smith Wines, Leela and Maker Maker make Magdalen Road a unique location for shopping.

For the fourth year running in December the St Leonards Neighbourhood Association is hold its ever popular Christmas Fair in the middle of Magadalen Road.

The fabulous hops will "spill out" onto the pavements, and they will be joined by 50 stallholders from all over the West Country selling food, drink, and all sorts of Christmas presents. There will be music, entertainment, fun activities, fairground rides and everyone will have a good time.

We will be making sure everyone has a fantastically atmospheric time under the warm glow of the Christmas lights.

So come along and find Christmas presents with a difference whilst enjoying a truly special Exeter community event.

The fair is organised by St Leonards Neighbourhood Association with help from Waitrose, SWH, and Exeter City Council.
