Distinctive rings stolen in Devon burglary

Police have released images of some unique jewellery stolen from Sidmouth.

A man broke into the JBM jewellers in Church Street around 3.30am on Monday, January 19th, smashing a front door and a number of display cases.

A quantity of gold jewellery was stolen including four very distinctive rings.

The rings each have an opal in with a number of diamonds on the sides and are hallmarked with the jeweller’s specific mark.

The suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a coat with a hoodie underneath and a baseball cap.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who is offered the rings for sale and officers would like them to contact police on 101 quoting reference CR/004241/15.
