Embrace chaos in business
Embracing Chaos will be the subject of a talk at this Friday's b2b Networking event at Sandy Park, the home of the Exeter Chiefs.
Experienced journalist, editor, media commentator and CEO of the award-winning PR and Marketing agency Astley Media, Marc Astley will discuss the threats and opportunities facing businesses as technolgy improves at an ever faster rate.
Marc said: "Research by Deloitte and Oxford University has forecast that one third of UK jobs will be automated by 2030 and that five million white collar jobs, including in accountancy and law, are at risk.
"Having worked in an industry that imploded in a realtively short period of time I will be looking at the changes taking place but also offering some suggestions as to what businesses should do to future-proof themselves.
"It's something that fascinates me and that I have spent a long time studying and although you may not be interested in chaos...chaos is interested in you."
The event takes place this Friday, 30th January at Sandy Park. Guests will enjoy a hearty breakfast and there will also be an exclusive Q&;A session with Exeter Chiefs Assistant Coach, Ali Hepher.
The morning will begin with networking from 8.15am. The speakers will commence at 9.00am finishing up at approximately 9.45am.
