Exeter PR firm wins major contract
Fast-growing Exeter firm, Astley Media has won the contract to provide PR and marketing support for the new Queen Street dining quarter.
The business was selected from a local shortlist by the developers and site owners Aviva Investors.
This is the latest of a number of major contracts the firm has secured in the past six months.
Other clients include EDF Energy, Stagecoach South West and East Midlands and the Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel.
Astley Media will provide local PR and marketing expertise for the Queen Street development team and the new restaurants which will occupy the space.
The contract began in January and is expected to run until early 2016.
Astley Media managing director Dan Pritchard said: “This is a significant contract and our ability to secure it reflects the strength and depth of the team we have built here. We are delighted to be working with a firm as recognised as Aviva Investors and appreciate the faith they have placed in us as a relatively new business.”
Aviva associate director, Simon Green, said: "Finding and working with Exeter based businesses is an important part of our development strategy and our ultimate aim to create a legacy, in the Queen Street project, that the city will be proud of. We have conducted extensive search and selection campaigns to find these businesses and are delighted to have secured the services of Astley Media as our PR partners on the project.”
Astley Media is the fastest growing PR and marketing company in Devon. Started by former newspaper editor Marc Astley in January 2012, it is now 12-strong with a wide range of clients from several different sectors.
It is also the only Devon businesses in its field to have secured awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2013 and 2014.
