Two Exeter Chiefs rugby players, Alex Brown and Carl Rimmer, will be hidden in a secret location in the city on Wednesday 25th March, as part of a competition launched by Exeter Chiefs and Britannia Lanes, ‘How’ Find Your Pow Wow Friends. Fans will need to decipher clues to work out where the props are placed and be in with a chance of winning a host of goodies, including tickets to a match and a signed shirt and ball.

Clues will be read out on Radio Exe during their breakfast show and daytime show, with picture clues posted across the radio stations and Chiefs’ Twitter and Facebook. Whoever can unravel the players’ whereabouts and get themselves down there will be entered into a draw, with winners being announced at 8pm on Chris Bentley’s Pow Wow show on Radio Exe.

Not only do fans win the fantastic prizes up for grabs, but will also be able to meet two stars of the squad. The players will be on location from 3:30pm for an hour, leaving plenty of opportunity for people to find them and still have time spare for selfies.

Rob Lane, Britannia Lanes’ Managing Director, says: “The competition is a great chance for the fans to meet the players who have helped the Chiefs reach the final of the LV= Cup and second positon in the Rugby Union league. We have sponsored the two props this season and really enjoyed being able to support our local sporting talent making a name nationally, as well as celebrate Exeter as a World Cup venue.”

The competition was launched on Chris Bentley’s Pow Wow hour on Radio Exe last week.

The former Chiefs lock has been helping to build buzz, stating: “Chiefs are doing big things this year! Carl and Alex are great players and I’m sure fans will relish the chance to meet the boys in person. Make sure to tune in to Radio Exe from 7am on Wednesday 25th March to be in with a chance of winning.”
