Gemfest 2015
Gemfest is back for its third year of festival fundraising, having raised over £11,000 for Hospiscare and The Brain Tumour Charity at the last two events.
Organised by local Brain Tumour ‘survivor’ Gemma and her friends, Gemfest promises a day packed with free family activities topped off with a variety of live music and entertainment in the evening from 6pm. Something for everyone – guaranteed.
11am – 4pm: free
6pm – 1am: £12.50 (all profits donated to charity)
THE DAY
The Main Auditorium will host a range of performances followed by free workshops upstairs in the voodoo lounge so all of the family can have a go! Confirmed so far are StreetDanz, Circus Skills and Hula Hooping.
Facepainting from Party Paints and Balloon Modelling with Simon Croft will be available for a small cost along with several competition stalls and a chance to win a ‘Prize Every Time’.

Additionally, in the Bar area, there will several stalls from local crafts people selling handmade goods.
The bar will be open throughout the day and food will be available at the cafe bar from 1pm.
A Raffle and an Auction will take place at the end of the event and tickets will be available from the stewards.
