Exeter School alumnus joint winner of JC Holt Magna Carta Undergraduate Essay Prize
2014 Exeter School leaver Dan Armstrong is joint winner of the JC Holt Magna Carta Undergraduate Essay Prize which was presented to him by Melvyn Bragg.
He gave a very entertaining talk to Exeter School's Third Form on the history of the Magna Carta and its relevance to today's societies on Friday 26 June.
His talk was based on his studies of Medieval History as an undergraduate at Cambridge University.
Dan answered numerous questions from excited pupils which included why he enjoyed studying History, what his favourite topics were, and who represented Devon at the Runnymede in 1215.
