Ivan and the Dogs
Based on the extraordinary true story of Ivan Mishukov, who walked out of his home at the age of four and was adopted by a pack of wild dogs, High Wall Theatre are proud to present Hattie Naylor’s incredible play, Ivan and the Dogs. In the midst of the cruel reality of impoverished Moscow in the 1990s, Ivan struggles to survive and chooses to forsake humanity for the protection, warmth and love that he can receive from a pack of dogs. This moving story is told through the feral child’s understanding of the world around him. His relationship with people, his dogs and his notions of fear, fun and family. Following the great success of our high-energy ensemble production ‘The Alpha Effect’, High Wall Theatre are now excited to be producing this touching and fascinating exploration of one man’s childhood.
Please note High Wall Theatre is a graduate non paid theatre company.
