A special recital given by the internationally acclaimed pianist, Andreas Boyde. The recital, which is generously being sponsored by the Joanna Leach Foundation is supported by the Isca Ensemble.

Andreas Boyde was born in Oschatz, Saxony in 1967. He has appeared in recital as well as soloist with orchestras all over the world including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sachsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Miami Symphony Orchestra and many others.

Since moving to London following the fall of the Berlin Wall he met Joanna Leach and launched his UK career with appearances at Wigmore Hall. He has released several live recordings of outstanding live concert performances

There will be a retiring collection for Hospiscare

As well as the evening performance, there is also a Masterclass for young pianists with Andreas on Saturday 5th. September (morning only). The masterclass features six very talented young pianists from all over the county - admission is free - anytime between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.
