Exeter club launches with star guest

TV hunk Danny Mac will be the special guest when new Exeter nightclub Unit 1 launches on Saturday (5 September).

The actor who played Dodger Savage in Hollyoaks will join the celebrations when the Summerland Street venue reveals its transformation following a six-figure investment.

Unit 1’s general manager Leanne Goddard said: “It’s going to be a great night. We’re excited about showing off the club and delighted to welcome Danny Mac to our launch.  He’s been voted the sexiest man on TV in the British Soap Awards two years in a row so he is sure to create a stir and draw plenty of admirers.”

The club will boast three new bars, a state of the art DJ console, six VIP booths and table service. The launch has also created 50 full and part-time jobs.
