Fund available for disability support groups
As part of its Well Built Community Fund, RGB Building Supplies is calling out to groups that support those with disabilities to explain how £1,000 worth of building materials could help to complete a project.
Having pledged to giveaway £1,000 of materials every other month, RGB has recently supported a youth group, an animal welfare centre and a project to help the homeless.
Perhaps a group would like to create a sensory area, set up a social room, or develop an outdoor space for use by those they support? Whatever the reason, RGB would like to hear about it.
Keith Harris, Product and Marketing Manager at RGB Building Supplies, commented:
“We are fully aware that there are some amazing groups in the local area that dedicate their time to helping those that have a disability. Quite often they are fully self-funding so are unable to complete projects until they have raised the funds to do so. Therefore, as a company with over 165 years of history, our Well Built Community Fund is there to give something back to the community that has been supporting us during that time.”
Groups and charities can nominate themselves by contacting RGB Building Supplies and explaining what project they need building materials for and how the support will be of benefit to them. One group will then be chosen from all the nominations to receive £1,000 worth of materials.
Nominations can be made by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk or by sending a letter to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Monday 11th January.
