Christmas proposal in Exeter's snowglobe
Love is in the air in Princesshay this festive season.
Dylan Tucker (20) from Exeter proposed to his girlfriend Amber Knee (22) also from Exeter on Sunday 20th December, in the Princesshay Snow Globe.
Dylan and Amber first met on Valentine’s Day this year and soon knew they were meant to be together. Dylan’s original plan was to propose to Amber on Christmas Eve, but after seeing the snow globe in Princesshay, he knew this was the location for his big festive surprise.
Dylan Tucker said: “It felt really magical and it was amazing to have my whole family there and everyone we love around us and of course the person I love most in front me. Having our special moment captured on camera in a beautiful setting was just perfect. The photos that were taken were amazing and we would like the thank Phoebe and Jonathan who run the snow globe for making the moment just as special as I hoped it would be.”
The popular Christmas feature has attracted hundreds of visitors since its arrival on the 19th November and the Snow Globe team has donated over £1300 to Princesshay’s charity of the year Age UK Exeter.
Phoebe and Jonathan from the Snow Globe said: “Congratulations to the happy couple, it was great to be part of such a wonderful occasion. Thank you for choosing us as your proposal location and we’re so pleased you love the photos. We’d also like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas.”
Andy Littlejohns, Princesshay operations manager said: “We’d like to wish both Dylan and Amber the very best for their future together and of course a very Merry Christmas.”
