Customers needing advice for lighting projects now have another port of call at Amos Lighting after the company appointed a new member to the sales team.

Jake Sprague, 23, is originally from Berkshire but moved to Exeter with his family when he was just six. Jake attended Exeter School before studying Geography at Loughborough University. Jake’s family name is well known in the region’s business community as his father, Nick Sprague, is the inspiration behind Exeter’s Cobell Fruit Juice.

Amos Lighting Managing Director and Lead Designer, David Amos said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jake to our growing team. He’s young, switched on and enthusiastic - I knew straight away that Jake had the potential to carve out a career in the lighting world.

“He has already shown us that he is interested in the whole building process and design aesthetic and understands the significance of lighting to the whole look and feel of a building.”

Jake has a long term interest in building and construction, adding an extra dimension to the sales team, which includes several knowledgeable part time staff along with full time employees, Ashton Hargreaves and Justin Felice. Ashton is a skilled photographer and Justin specialises in customer service, making Jake’s appointment a well-balanced fit.

Jake said: “From an early stage I realised I wanted to get into a niche specialism within the building sector, and I’m looking forward to getting involved in both commercial and residential projects with Amos Lighting.”

The sales team is available to provide help and advice for any lighting project, big or small, at the Amos Lighting showroom at Bridford Road, Marsh Barton.
