Martin Carthy and daughter Eliza join forces to perform songs from their first duo album of traditional material.

For more than forty years Martin has been one of Folk music’s greatest innovators, enjoying musical partnerships with Steeleye Span, Dave Swarbrick, Norma Waterson and many more.

Eliza Carthy is undoubtedly one of the most impressive and engaging performers of her generation, performing with a diverse array of artists including Paul Weller and Rufus Wainwright. She has revitalised modern folk music with her intelligent, charismatic and boundary-crossing performances.

Eliza Carthy was nominated Best Singer in the 2016 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
