'Mum Market' is a money spinner
Parents and parents to be flocked to America hall in Pinhoe in search of some bargains at the mum2mum market.
More than 150 parents shopped for quality second hand baby and children’s goods. Children’s clothes, toys designer prams and nursery equipment were amongst the many bargains on offer. Some parents queued for over half an hour to make sure they got the pick of the bargains.
Mum2mum market provide local parents the opportunity to sell their outgrown baby and children’s goods to other parents and recoup some of the cost.
The top seller of the day made over £250 and were very happy to of sold all the bigger items they had. Also there, was the sales sponsor ROCK chiropractic health centre, they were doing free spine and posture checks to parents and children which was extremely well received, particularly by the many pregnant ladies that were there.
Joanne, who organises the events, is delighted with the success of the first sale and is excited for the next sale on September 11th. The sale is already proving to be very popular and the stalls are almost sold out all ready.
She says: “I was blown away by the success of the first sale and how friendly all the sellers were. I feel this will quickly become a really friendly community event that people will look forward to and I’m really glad I’ve been able to give people the opportunity to save and make money."
The next sale will be held at America Hall, Pinhoe on September 11th between 13.30 – 15.30.
