An incredible coup for Exeter Phoenix in booking a true rock all star super group, playing the Grateful Dead's Live Dead album in it's entirety on Sunday 29 January.

Formed in San Francisco in the mid 60's , and famed for their unique and eclectic style fusing elements of rock, country, blues, and psychedelia into live shows sometimes lasting three to four hours.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame, they were included in Rolling Stone's greatest artists of all time, amongst too many awards to list. Since the sad death of their founder Jerry Garcia, there have been several incarnations of the band, including this all star take on the Grateful Dead including legendary keyboard player Tom Constantine, and Mark Karan.

This all star band is augmented by members of Jefferson Starship, whose  recent performances at the venue received rave reviews.

The band will perform the whole of the "Live Dead" album, a unique event that has never been done before. The Grateful Dead remain one of the most famous bands in Rock history.
