Newtown residents to keep eyes and ears open for missing kitten

Marlowe, a domestic short-haired cat with distinctive black patches, black eyepatch and a white-tipped black tail, has been missing for three days.

Marlowe's owners say: "He has a friendly nature and loves to play, so might try and run away from you - he also scares very easily. Please check your sheds and garages in case hes stuck, and check under cars as he loves to hide under them."

Marlowe disappeared from Jesmond Road on Sunday and is thought to have been sighted on Ladysmith Road.

Reward available for safe return.
