Pirates of Penzance on at the Northcott this week

Following the success of Patience in March 2012, Exeter University Gilbert and Sullivan Society return to celebrate their 45th year with one of the most famous comic operas of all time, The Pirates of Penzance.

Follow the thrilling story of young Frederic, who has to remain faithful to the pirate trade until his 21st birthday. However, he longs to pursue his dreams elsewhere and find true love.

The pirates find a flaw in his contract and all becomes more complicated than Frederic could have ever imagined...

With fantastically famous music, delicious humour and the best of Exeter University's singing talent, the cast will be sure to leave you wanting more!
