Exeter man sought in attempted murder investigation

Update: The 23-year-old man arrested in connection with this incident has been released on police bail until 14 May pending further enquiries.

Yesterday: Police in Exeter are appealing for information to locate a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted murder.

First published: Police are seeking to locate and speak to Sean Hills, aged 25 years, from Exeter in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred just before 4.00am this morning (Thursday 14 February), at a property in Geneva Court.

The victim, a 25-year-old local man sustained injuries to his head and neck following a knife attack.

He was conveyed to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, where he received treatment for non-life threatening injuries and was later released.

Sean Hills is described as being of slim build, approximately 5’10” in height, clean shaven with short brown hair. He has a London accent.

Police ask that if anyone sees this man or knows his current whereabouts to contact them immediately on 101 quoting police reference. DE/13/1412.
