Hustings for Devon County Council Elections

Transition Exeter has organized a hustings for the Devon County Council Elections on Thursday April 27th at Exeter Community Centre at 7pm.  

Local candidates from will speak and answer questions from the public. The event will be chaired by Martyn Goss, Director of Church and Society and Convenor of Exeter Food Network.

The County Council election is on May 4th; however the proceedings may be coloured by the impending General Election on June 8th as many County Council matters are deeply influenced by policies of central government.

Hilary Ackland with represent the Labour Party, Anne Jobson the Conservatives, Vanessa Newcombe the Liberal Democrats and Diana Moore the Green Party.

Questions can be submitted in advance.
